A little bit of creativity

Goes a long way. J. K. Rowling has made no less than a small fortune off her series of books. Rightly so as well. I mean, the effort and the thought thats been put into her work is incredible. Whilst some of the Potter Paraphernalia is highly commercial and seems to be just a money making exercise, Rowlings done well to get herself where she is. I also have the same thoughts for the founders of Google, eBay, Hotmail and Amazon.com. These businesses have found themselves a rather nice market and are making huge amounts of money. The moral of it is, if you think you've got an idea to fill a void that needs to be filled, i.e paperclips. Work to it, it could become rather lucrative.
